Friday 3rd June, 2.00 - 3.30pm
For 5-11 year olds
Meet at The Harley Gallery
Join us for an art activity specially created for 5-11 year olds.
Children will have fun, engage their imaginations, and develop their fine motor skills
Families will work with sculptor Michelle Reader, and you can see her work in an exhibition at The Harley Gallery. Michelle also made the horse sculptures in the Courtyard. These sculptures are made from found materials such as scrap metal, and mark the start of the Harley Art Trail.
In this session, families will visit Michelle's exhibition, before working with the artist to use every day recycled materials such as plastic bottles to make sculptures together.
Tickets are £6 per child (adults go free) and include all of the materials to make your sculptures which you can then take home.
This workshop is designed for children aged 5-11, but siblings are welcome if they would like to join in the fun!
A Hands on Holidays workshop for children aged 5 and under is also taking place on Friday 3rd June, 9.30 - 11.00am. Click here for details.
