Gwen Vaughan creates a world of colourful clay creatures in handknit cashmere jumpers. Using black clay and traditional hand building techniques each creature begins as a pinch pot. Reminiscent of animal characters in children’s books and fairy tales these playful figures are embodiments of the animals spirit and personality.
