“My figurative work can have a wistful and wry aspect and often echoes primitive tribal artefacts. I work in a range of clay media including stoneware, terracotta and Raku.
I use traditional hand building and sculpting techniques. Each piece takes several weeks to complete and involves hand shaping and modelling before natural air-drying, glazing, kilning, polishing and finishing to the highest standards.”
